Hi I purchased an unlocked B593 -22 on amazon. Got a PAYG sim off vodafone. The sim can access the internet in another device so it works.
Download Huawei B525s-23a Firmware 11.236. West European Download Huawei E3531 HiLink Firmware 22.318.05.00.00 Universal Download Huawei E5372s-32 Firmware 21.236.03.00.00 Universal. Download Huawei’s E5336, E5573 and B593; Firmware and WebUI Free I have already written unlocking procedure of Huawei’s E5336, E5573 and B593 MiFi / WiFi routers. I keep uploading the firmware and WebUI’s as and when we get.
Cannot get it working in the B593 however. Drama taiwan fated to love you 2008 subtitle indonesia it 2017. Tried the APN that comes with the SIM. Tried alternations on this where i left the user name blank and password blank.
Tried live.vodafone.com - but nothing works. Furhertest i got was attempting a manual scan where it lists the 4G networks it can find - vodafone,3 - however when i click the register button- everytime i get back it failed to register on network. Anyone got one of these working? Or have suggestions - possibly on the APN settings The device is have is a Huawei Lte CPE B593 Note: if buying from Amazon it appears these are coming stright out of China as the device wifi band was setup for China. Does not work with Vodafone 4G network: purchased a bill pay sim on 30 day contract also - will not connect - spent an hour on phone to tech support- eventually they got annoyed- from what they indicated the 4G network somehow restricts the devices it allows to connect to it and will not let the router authenticate.
In summary: PAYG SIM works on 3G with the device Bill pay does not work. I have wasted €20 on sim cards and another €150 on a B593 router + 2 days on this Tested various APN's and have perfect 4G coverage on Iphone so im not doubting this does not work anymore. Hi Skjom, Don't discard that router just yet. The B593s-22 works brillantly on 4G Vodafone.I regularly get over 40Mbps with constant 4 bars.
I also got mine from Amazon unlocked. Again it took me a few days to realise, after swapping sims from family, that on Vodafone you need a Contract sim to get 4G to work. When I joined Vodafone 2 months on contract I also ordered the R216 4G mobile router which was delivered on a Friday. A brother of mine had got one of these a few months earlier and he was advised then to leave it on standby for 24 hrs for it to 'activate'. Well I left my new sim in R216 over the w/end and still could not connect with 4G, no problem with 3G.
I rang customer services on Monday, gave my sim number and they activated the sim. When I saw it was working on R216 I swapped it in to the B593 and had a 4g signal within minutes. It auto-configured, no messing with APN's etc but like you say it just defaults the country to China but that makes no difference. Just log-in to router settings and change to Ireland. So there should be no issues with the router, the sim just needs to be activated for 4g. Failing that borrow an R216 or similar 4g Vodafone router and use that for the activation. FYI some router details, Hardware version - Ver.B.
